We're currently implementing a modern, cloud-based architecture and are looking for talented, and motived professionals that want to be part of providing the best client experience and financial resources possible.What You'll Do : As an Engineer I, you will be responsible for applying technical knowledge to ensure availability of Edward Jones' Systems. Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of : • Build basic business, technical and/or appropriate product knowledge• Provide quality solutions for business and enterprise software needs• Perform basic programming assignments• Provide support including on-call responsibility• Assist in developing program level requirements and designs• Develop, test, document and implement quality programs from specifications within targeted due dates.• Assist with program / task estimates• Develop and execute simple complexity test plans to ensure quality• May involve periodic review of general support documentation

What Experience You'll Need :

Bachelor's degree and/or related work experience
A working knowledge of at least one or more of the following technologies:
- J2EE, Mainframe COBOL, Java, and Structured Query Language

****Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday****
